Never take your vehicle here for a wheel alignment they will dig deep into your pockets, I was charged $200. My wife on the other hand got one done paid $140, but there was something wrong with two bolts (gave her a 30 day warranty to take it back once she got the bolts) her grandfather did the favor of installing the bolts so all this place needed to do was the other wheel alignment and yet with the 30 day warranty they still had the audacity to charge her again. The employee who helped her out didn’t bother telling her to don’t have anyone else touch the vehicle otherwise the warranty no longer exists.
Diony, firstly I'd like to take a moment to address both of your concerns. Your alignment , which was done 10 months ago, was $200 after tax. In addition to our normal wheel alignment, that bill includes us using an oxy-acetylene torch to burn off corrosion from the tie rod adjusting sleeves. This includes additional time as well as the cost of the actylene both of which get added on when it brings the vehicle outside of a standard wheel alignment. As far as your wife's vehicle is concerned, she was charged for a standard wheel alignment (the $136 is after tax). Our warranty on wheel alignments is 90 days not 30 days. And we tell customers (when we find something that doesn't allow us to do the alignment 100%) that if they come back for the work recommended within 30 days, we will do the work and we'll re-do the alignment at no charge. This is standard practice for us as many shops won't even do that. If the work is done elsewhere then it doesn't fall under the warranty or our offer of doing a one time re-do at no charge. That being said, this should have not only been explained but typed out on the initial invoice for your wife's vehicle. Without her information, I can't look further into it. IF it was mistakenly, not put on her invoice. We'd be happy to work outsomething with you/her.
